Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using WedRequest ("the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not access or use the Platform. WedRequest reserves the right to update these Terms at any time, and your continued use constitutes acceptance of any changes.

2. Description of Service

WedRequest is an online marketplace that connects individuals planning weddings and events ("Event Hosts") with professional service providers ("Vendors"). The Platform allows Event Hosts to post service requests and receive competitive bids from Vendors. WedRequest does not itself provide any wedding or event services.

3. Account Registration

To use certain features of the Platform, you must create an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to update such information to keep it accurate. You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.

4. User Roles

Event Hosts: May create events, post service requests, review vendor bids, and select vendors. Event Host accounts are free.

Vendors: May create business profiles, browse available requests, and submit bids. Certain features require a paid subscription.

5. Vendor Subscriptions & Payments

Vendor subscription plans are billed monthly or annually via Stripe. By subscribing, you authorize WedRequest to charge your payment method on a recurring basis. You may cancel your subscription at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Refunds are not provided for partial billing periods. Free trial periods, if offered, automatically convert to paid subscriptions unless cancelled before the trial ends.

6. User Conduct

You agree not to:

Use the Platform for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws.
Misrepresent your identity, qualifications, or the services you provide.
Harass, abuse, or threaten other users.
Post false, misleading, or fraudulent content.
Circumvent the Platform to conduct transactions outside of WedRequest to avoid fees.
Use automated tools, bots, or scrapers to access the Platform.

7. Content & Intellectual Property

Users retain ownership of content they upload. By posting content on WedRequest, you grant WedRequest a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, display, and distribute such content in connection with the Platform's operations. WedRequest's name, logo, and design are proprietary and may not be used without written permission.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

WedRequest is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee the quality, safety, or legality of services offered by Vendors, the accuracy of listings, or the ability of Vendors to perform services. WedRequest is not a party to any agreement between Event Hosts and Vendors.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, WedRequest shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of your use of the Platform, including but not limited to disputes between Event Hosts and Vendors, service quality issues, or financial losses.

10. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Platform shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association. You agree to waive any right to a jury trial or to participate in a class action.

11. Termination

WedRequest reserves the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these Terms or for any other reason at our sole discretion. Upon termination, your right to use the Platform ceases immediately.
